Cultural Awareness
1.Get a good guidebook. This will tell you about the country you are visiting. Find out about local laws, customs and culture.
2.Take a phrase book and try speaking the local language.
3.Respect local customs and dress codes. Think about what you wear and how you fit in. Ask your tour operator or guide if you are unsure. 
4.Always ask an individual's permission before you take a photograph and respect their reply. In some cultures you should not attempt to photograph women.
Security
1.Be security conscious and take sensible precautions
2.Be alert to unattended baggage in public places 
 3.Avoid political and other demonstrations or gatherings
 4.Avoid unlit streets at night
5.Leave your valuables and spare cash in the hotel safe or other secure place 
 6.Keep abreast he local and regional political scene in the media.
Obey the law

3.Donot overstay your visa. You can extend your visa in most places; if you do not you can be imprisoned or fined.
Money
1.Usea money belt or secure inside pocket. If you have to carry a lot of money ask your partner or a friend to carry some for you.
2.Changemoney in banks or legal foreign exchange dealers. It is often illegal to change withunauthorisedpersons, and you run the risk of receiving fake currency and arrest.
3.Keepall exchange receipts, as you may have to prove you obtained your local currency legally.

2.Ifyou have never before travelled alone, it is natural to feel rather dauntedустрашающий. We each go through life trying not to be afraid, comfortable within our envelope of security. The idea is to stretch that envelope. Keep stretching it until there is no envelope at all, and nothing separates you from your world. 
3.Travelwith the address and phone number of your country's embassy at your destination. Call if you need help or advice.
